Ciao, I’m Samantha Sciotti

Samantha Sciotti’s artistic journey began in Seneca Falls, New York. From the moment she could hold a pencil, she immersed herself in the world of drawing. However, it was a transformative visit to the Disney Animation Studio at the age of 5 that ignited her passion for bringing stories to life. Watching Robin Williams transform into a lost boy on the big screen etched an unforgettable impression upon on her young imagination.

 

Over time, Samantha’s skills as an animator, illustrator, and filmmaker flourished. She dedicated herself to her craft and cultivated a solid foundation through her BFA in Animation and her extensive experience in the film industry.  This knowledge and expertise allowed her to embark on various artistic ventures, each infused with her unique touch. 

 

Currently pursuing her MFA in Illustration at Savannah College of Art and Design, Samantha’s focus lies in the realms of editorial, advertising, and book design.  Whether through the stroke of her pencil, the movement of her animations, or her collaborations on film sets, Samantha aims to inspire and captivate audiences, ultimately contributing to positive transformations in the world. Her work serves as a testament to her firm belief in the power of storytelling to evoke change and connect with audiences on a profound level. With every project she undertakes, Samantha aims to create a lasting impact that transcends artistic boundaries.
